There’s no need to prove Nordic ancestry to cruise with the Viking Explorers. Case in point, this year there were 17 nationalities represented among the 20 yachts and 60 cruisers who cast off from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in early January en route to the Blue Lagoon Hotel & Marina in St. Vincent on the third edition of this annual transatlantic rally. An easy two- to three-week crossing under light winds meant the cruisers had plenty of energy to explore St. Vincent.
